Barozu trust will ask for another term

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barozu confidence will ask the European Parliament for another term in office. Afternoon he will present his program to MEPs and will respond to their questions.

Barroso is only kandadidat for the job, but the support of prestigious European People’s Party it will not be enough to be reelected. To gain support he will need part of the Socialists and Liberals. Many, however, continue to believe that voting for a new President of the European Commission is now inappropriate and premature, and that it should take place after repeated referendum on the Lisbon treaty in Ireland.

The vote for President of the European Commission is scheduled for tomorrow and will be secret.
