Euro Zone Services Expand

Despite growing worries of euro zone countries’ finances, the region’s dominant services sector, continues to grow.
The latest survey of purchasing managers in businesses from banks to restaurants showed expansion in May was at a pace not seen in more than two and a half years.
However Markit, which carried out the survey, warned the crisis of confidence over the euro zone’s fiscal health could hit future activity.
