For every ten Bulgarians traveling abroad remains only a memory

Journeys of Bulgarians abroad decreased by 10.8% to 485,892 in June this year compared to same month of last year, reported the National Statistics Institute. Italy followed, where the decline was 42.3%, Cyprus – by 40.9 percent, France – with 39.3%, Austria – with 38.2 per cent, Great Britain – by 36.4%, Netherlands – 35 , 8 per cent, Belgium – by 35.6%, Ukraine – by 35.6 percent, Sweden – by 33.7% and others. However an increase in travel compared to the same month of 2008 was registered to Portugal – by 169.8 percent, Turkey – 6.2% in Greece – by 5.7 per cent. Mainly Bulgarians traveling abroad with an official order form and travel 51.5% of the total. Followed trips taken a trip – 25.2 per cent visit – 19.8% and – 3.5%. In the visits of foreigners in the country in June this year compared to same month of 2008 also recorded a fall – by 12.7 percent to 957,271. Citizens of the European Union at least visit Bulgaria are made Slovaks – with 38.7 per cent, Hungarians – with 30.3%, Romanians – by 29.2 percent, Danes – with 27%, Finns – 25, 5 percent and Swedes – with 23.5 per cent. In June this year compared with six months of 2008 visits of Russians decreased by 2.9 per cent of Ukrainians – with 8.6%, Serbs – with 34.9 per cent of the Norwegian – by 37.6% , and Japanese – with 39.7 per cent.
