GB taxes drive out McDonald’s in the Alps

Fast food chain McDonald’s has decided to leave Europe’s financial capital London. The reason is the high taxes in the UK, affecting negatively the results of the company.
This had prompted the managers of McDonald’s to decide to shift to the company’s European headquarters in the capital of Switzerland Geneva, transmit Market Watch. It is expected to move even this year.
According to information in Geneva will be placed on the heads of executive bodies of McDonald’s Europe as well as president of the company for its operations in the Old Continent Dennis Henekin.
Thus, McDonald’s became another American company, which runs from London because of high taxes. Exactly why they and other American giants opt for its Geneva headquarters in Europe. Among these companies are Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive and Yahoo!.
For its headquarters in Europe even Google has chosen Zurich, although the company has a large office in London.
