In Estonia, has launched a campaign for the introduction of the euro next year

In Estonia, officially launched a campaign among the population for the introduction of the euro on 1 January next year. Banknotes and coins will be presented with four pictures.

Ceremony attended by President of the European Central Bank Jean-Claude Trichet and the governor of Estonian central bank Andres Lipstok was broadcast live on television.

Estonia will become the 17 th country in the EU, which will adopt the common European currency.
