In Kyustendil save 9 million leva due to gas

Piped gas users Overgas West PLC in Kyustendil will save more than 5.6 million levafor energy costs in the coming winter, thanks to the passage of electricity, diesel and fuel oil to natural gas. Savings in the first nine months of 2009 already passed 3.4 million leva. So for 15 months the amount will exceed 9 millionleva.
Largest economies in the next winter will have in the industrial sector, where low cost and high efficiency of natural gas will save consumers on gas supplied 2.7 million leva. The savings from the municipal budget for the gasification of public administrative buildings in the city will have 2.3 million leva, while in the residential sector – 600 thousand.
We gasified in Kyustendil households pay 7.8 cents per kilowatt hour of energy produced by natural gas users in the business sector Between 6,1 and 7,5 cents per kWh depending on the tariff plan. For comparison: the same amount of energy in the city, made with oil, currently worth 8.9 cents in electricity – 14.8 cents, but with the naphtha – 19.2 cents.
Length constructed by Overgas West PLC distribution network in Kyustendil is 85 kilometers. Thereto have already joined in 1714 households, 19 industrial enterprises and 96 public administrative buildings (including all municipal buildings). 8350 route allows residential consumers to take advantage of ecological and economical fuel.
