One in five Spaniards Jobless

Unemployment in Spain has topped a fifth of the workforce according to a national newspaper.
ABC said 4.61 million Spaniards were jobless in the first quarter — that is 20.05 per cent — well up on the 18.8 per cent figure for the last quarter of 2009.
The paper claims they are the official figures due out on Friday which appeared for a few minutes by mistake on the National Statistics Institute website.
