Sale of oil instead evrodizel customs mobile groups revealed

17 sites for storage and sale of fuels were tested for 17 – 26 June. In the inspections have taken part officials of the Directorate for Operational customs and excise control (TSMU), Directorate General for Criminal Police and officials of the regional customs offices.

Mobile customs groups have verified the stations in Rousse, Plovdiv and Pazardzhik. Have taken nearly 500 samples of 000 liters fuel. For more than 190 000 liters initial tests show that the fuel sold by evrodizel represents oil. Excise duty on heavy fuel leva/1000 is 30 liters, while leva/1000 evrodizel is 600 liters. Other 230 000 liters of suspected breaches of the Law on Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses. Have been proven to damage from unpaid duty for nearly 60 000 leva.
Discovered two illegal tanks, where a case is opened incorrectly associated fiscal device. Upon verification of a petrol station in Pazardjik detected unregistered cash register and a notebook for recording non-revenue from the sale of fuels with a daily turnover of between 10 000 and 15 000 euros. Official fiscal device showed tenfold low turnover of about 3000levs a day.
In another case in Plovdiv verification of customs mobile groups found that when loading from column evrodizel fiscal device marked price of BGN 1 per liter in the announced sale price 1.87levs per liter.
Cases are submitted to the National Revenue Agency for further action.
