Spain extended its plan to boost car sales

Spanish Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade Miguel Sebastian Gascony said that the plan to stimulate sales in the automotive sector will be extended for another year, AP reported.
The Minister pointed out that 40 million euros (60 million) will be earmarked for an extension until the end of 2009, in his words will give the opportunity to be financed purchases of about 80 000 vehicles. He added that the plan will be in force throughout 2010, BTA said.
