Survey will examine tourism in the Black Sea

Today was officially the beginning of the sociological survey on „Responsible Tourism“ on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
It is held at the initiative of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF), with financial assistance from the European Commission and aims to examine the practices, opinions and experiences of all those associated with tourism (tourists, staff, local residents, investors , managers, ecologists, etc.) on social, economic and environmental impact of tourism development.
According Stamen Tasev, Executive Director of BBLF has encouraging signs (so-called „green sprouts“), that even in current difficult economic conditions many suppliers of tourism services want to be responsible in the creation of sustainable tourism product.
At the opening of the summer survey today Stamen Tasev expressed hope that the new government will approach with understanding the needs of industry and encourage the development of CSR in the tourism sector by offering attractive incentives for those who use initiatives in their practice and appropriate sanctions for those who do not.
