Wedding woes

Recently I happened to be confronted with the procedures for entering into civil marriage. Until now I naively thought that the desire of two people is enough reason they can marry.

Alas, it is not so.
The first and most important position is that the marriage shall take place only under conditions set by the Family Code (CC). Described in detail there are many restrictions and even bans the marriage – they include age, physical and mental state, kinship, place of ritual, ritual itself. Thus, in general, candidate spouses can not marry if one of them is a minor or have a kinship relationship.
The biggest impression, however, make regulations concerning the physical and mental state of „bride“ for which they must submit a medical certificate. Despite a great desire to love and not so much love to marry, they can not do if one of them suffers from a disease threatening the health of the other spouse or offspring. Thus, the law excludes many situations such as where two people want to marry without pair (for example, because both have a personal interest in marriage – though the law into account the desire, not love), or where the spouses know about their disease transmitted to offspring, but they want to marry with the intention to adopt a child together. However, if you „fit“ to marry, you will need to comply with a number of requirements. Happiness of the decision on marriage first need to rest – no way to marry more than one month after the subscription and payment of fees for marriage, you must submit a statement of its decision, in which even the fill level of education; must buy rings, cups (? tied with a white ribbon?), champagne, right to shoot.
