Chinese President requested free trade and investment liberalization
Central role in the incentive plan of 586 billion dollars of Beijing occupies an increase in domestic demand in China and creation of a new model for economic growth
Chinese President Hu Jintao called for free trade and investment liberalization and warned that issues such as protectionism, remain in the world system, officials said. Hu told business leaders and politicians at the conference of the Organization of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) that recovery of the global economy still is not happening. He added that central to the incentive plan of 4 trillion yuan (586 billion) of Beijing occupies an increase in domestic demand in China and creation of a new model for economic growth.
„We must continue to realize liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment and oppose protectionism in all its manifestations, especially foolish restrictions imposed on developing countries“, added the Chinese president, quoted by today +. China’s economy recorded growth this year thanks to the incentive plan of the government, the growth of GDP on an annualized basis increased to 8.9 percent in the third quarter compared to 7.9 percent in the second and 6.1 percent in the first, which effectively ensures that China will reach its target of 8 percent growth for the year.
