Days after the collapse of the low cost airline „Sky Europe“ has already begun and the battle for her clients more than 12 thousand passengers in the CR only had to quickly choose the competing carriers to move after the cancellation of their tickets.
Low cost „SmartWings“ and „WizzAir“ announced that they will reduce their prices and will increase flights to destinations preferred by customers and from the Czech capital. Depreciation applies primarily to flights to Paris and Amsterdam at prices considerably below the 100 euros in low-cost airlines. In the battle between the price other companies now leads „Air France-KLM“ with prices to those cities and 130 euros. However, strong position in Europe retain the low-cost „Ryanair“ and „easyJet“.
More than 7500 customers have chosen after bankruptcy low cost „SmartWings“ for flights from and to Prague, represented by the company „Travel Service“ – the candidate of the state carrier, buyer. The airline plans daily flights to Rome twice a day to Paris.
Other destinations preferred by the clients of „Sky Europe“ according to the analysis and were Salonika, Naples and Split. There will be special flights to Sardinia and Sicily, where many tourists chose to vacation and were certified on the day of failure. One way ticket could cost you around € 49 of these passengers.
Over 4500 customers have shifted to the Hungarian „WizzAir“, which aspires to replace bankrupt „Sky Europe“ and the airport in Prague. Already there is an increase in sales, but expect more frequent flights to London, Rome, Milan, Brussels and Aindhofen. For the last three – to 7 times a week from October.
From 16 thousand inquiries, only 500 tickets 50 euro bought victims of bankruptcy by the Czech carrier – CSA, put up for sale. For this financial „aid“ and not a commercial practice, however, passengers are often used in stand-by „position – no seats, and waiting for someone to give up your reservation. Otherwise, the company now sells even less seats to Europe and prices around 100 euros.
