Bourgas-Alexandroupolis is a work site

Project Burgas-Alexandroupolis pipeline is not as advanced stage, as society has been made to think, said Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traicho Traikov. According to him, the project is still a work site.

According to the minister one of the most important aspects of this project is whether it is environmentally safe. Because ultimately our nature is not worth 30 million USD, said Traykov. But if we can get those 30 million USD in a safe manner with respect to all economic and environmental practices, in no event shall refuse, added the Minister.

The Government’s position on the Belene NPP remains the same at the time said Traykov. This means that you need to make the project economic evaluation to assess whether it is effective.
