Bulgarian-Italian project for energy efficiency in Bathrooms

Joint project to improve energy efficiency in cooperation with the Italian municipality Skio be implemented in bathrooms. The main objective is to increase the competitiveness of the region and to ensure long term sustainable development of the common bathrooms using the best European practices in the field of energy efficiency. The target groups of the project are local authorities, small and medium enterprises and students. One of the specific objectives is to increase their iformiranost to energy efficiency and use of alternative renewable energy iztochinitsi. The project will be carried out training and experience will be introduced to italinskite Skio partners. The project will develop a web database „Energy consumption and energy efficiency. They will come and catalog with the best European practice and application – Virtual Energy Park. A comprehensive survey of the three bathrooms in office buildings, holding a forum „Energy from Nature“, the development of methodological guidelines for energy management, Roundtable Sustainable Energy Conference and the Days of the natural energy. The project duration is 18 months and funds amounting to 210 460 leva „extremely important for the bathrooms is the question of utilization of biomass. Biomass can be used to produce electricity, but we have over 220 000 decares forest. These forests must be cleaned, but other then waste can obtain this power, the mayor explained Raicho Danailov.
