Fight for Arctic

It is believed that at least 25 percent of the untapped resources of oil and gas reserves in the world are in the Arctic. After several years during the summer there will be ice. And this feeds the territorial appetites.

A Russian mini-submarine reached the seabed at the North Pole, leaving Russian flag there. Pictures by this act round the world. Especially in the capitals of the countries bordering the Arctic is widespread concern due to the aggressive, hegemonialno behavior of Moscow.

Are the fears justified?

Russia, Norway and Denmark were the hosts represented by their Foreign Ministers and the United States and Canada have sent deputies.
