In times of crisis only money have matter

Strange is the fact that the severe economic crisis in recent years has prompted people to ask the most fundamental question about the root of this whole „Lyubnitsa grief – what is money?
Money is many things, of course: coins and banknotes in his pocket jingled our piles and real and virtual currencies are in banks, or smart money seems to disappear and their immateriality increasingly been spins electronically on the vectors of the financial networks.
This may act as initial, empirical description, but what they really mean money? What is the idea of money, which we keep in mind when they receive, share, or save pileem? In the heart of the money standing trust and promise: the inscription „I promise to pay the bearer on demand the sum of …“, which stands for pounds, or“ We believe in God, „the U.S. dollar, and the abbreviation of several languages European Central Bank, BCE-ECB-EZB-EKT-EKP, hinged like a French-English-German-Greek-Finnish cipher edge of the euro.
Not that blagogoveem things before we can buy with money. Rather, worship money, which enables us to buy these things.

Sovereign power

In other words, the legitimacy of money based on the supreme law or sovereign guarantee that the money is good that they are false. The structure of the money contained a promise with a strange circularity logic – the money promised that the money is good. The adoption of this promise is the approval of a specific monetary ethos. We all agree that cost money (ideally) more than the paper on which they are printed. To buy and sell in U.S. dollars or any other currency, it means you believe that any bill makes a promise that can not meet.
This ethos – peeled promise of money that are good, is guaranteed by the sovereign power. It is worth recalling that the gold coins, called „sovereign“ were first minted in England in the management of Henry VII in 1489 and they continue to be cut today. Is essential to believe in that power – the sovereign power of the Bank inspires confidence that the Fed is reliable, so to speak. The loan can operate solely on the basis of trust and reliability, the act of loyalty and trust of up-verya-ing. As the professional, historians of language, a strong etymological connection between the ideas of faith, trust and forms of economic exchange. Goddess of truth – Fidesz, has sometimes been depicted on the reverse of Roman coins. „We believe in the Fed ‘as the title of the new book from David Wesson.
Money is theological essence of the act based on trust, of faith. We even talk about a kind of religion or civil monetary exchange patriotism. This is particularly evident in the attitude of the U.S. dollar, especially as the actual physical quality of the note. It can be seen in the way the United Kingdom against the euro and the strange cultural need of money, guaranteed by virtue of sovereignty by marking the Queen’s image, which also (do not forget) is the head of the Anglican Church.
Plato defines „image“ as something that materializes absence, an image of something that does not exist in reality – as god Poseidon or builder Bob. This is money to me. In the absence of any gold standard money only to underpin the act of trust, faith, hope and promise of ultimate power.

Insatiably desire

We can go much further, as we say that the seemingly godless world of global finance capitalism, money is the only thing that really needs to have faith. It is this faith we celebrate in longing for goods in the form of fetish and power, which they seem to have over us. Not so blagogoveem things before we can buy with money. Rather, worship money, which enables us to buy these things. In her seductive display of shiny marks, covering the market, so we do not want the objects bearing the mark, but rather objects insofar as they embody an amount that can be quantified.
Wearing a brand designed to show the money they could buy it. In our case it is not so much that traders defile the temple, and that the only temples in which we can bogogoveem are places where money changes hands in a twisted parody of a religious service. This is inexplicable mass which celebrate in malls like cathedrals scattered throughout the earth.
Understandable misunderstanding of capitalism is the claim that it is materialism, which consists of unsaturated desire for things. I agree that we love money, which allowed us to buy these things because they confirm our faith and returned only a theological basis, we have the faith in the world. Money is our metaphysics. In this god we trust. And when they broke faith, and made a dramatic last year, then people experienced something close to a crisis of confidence.
In response to this crisis, only a political solution (from Obama and Gaytnar Summers here and Brown, Merkel, Sarkozy on the other side) is an attempt to restore confidence, to support credit systems, governments are converted into a bank of last resort . Unfortunately (or fortunately, politicians), people quickly forget them and momentary crisis of confidence is washed away from their memories of the waters of oblivion, and was overcome by inexorable desire for faith.
Of course, as Shakespeare has always cast a bright light on it. In Timon of Athens’ main character called the money in the form of gold, „You see God.“ „Whoever it is impossible solder / dictate their love, continues with this fascinating replica of Timon. In other words, there is nothing that money can not join firmly.
