Iran to hang 20 people trafficking in drugs

Twenty people sentenced to death for drug trafficking were hanged today in a prison near Tehran, transmitted agency Farsi, cited by BGNES.
Executions were carried out in the morning in jail Radzhaye Karadja Shahr, about 50 kilometers west of Tehran, the agency specifies.
With the death today completed the number of people executed in Iran since the beginning of the year becomes 161. In 2008 in the Islamic Republic were executed 246 death sentences. By death in Iran is punishable murder, rape, armed robbery, drug trafficking and adultery.
