Legislative changes will restrict the property fraud, the notary is a barrier to fraud in the property market. It said the chairman of the Notary Chamber (PC) Dimitar Tanev before the BTA.

Tanev said that after the rise in the past two months, cases of property fraud is noticeable sense of public fear.
He said that more people come in with questions about notaries lost ID cards.
According to Tanev in the last two or three months rose forgers of identity cards. He added that almost never heard of such cases by mid-year.
Notary Dimitar Tanev had met with the President of the Union of Jurists in Bulgaria Vladislav Slavov and information technology specialists from the Ministry. They commented on the creation of a data link between the MoI and the Chamber of Notaries to check the identity cards.

President of the Chamber has lodged a proposal to amend the law to change the information systems. According to him, one of the reasons was the fear among the public against possible abuses.
