Russia plans bid to purchase vertoletonosach

Russia plans to hold a tender for a contract for the purchase of vertoletonosach. In the auction will participate France, Netherlands and Spain, said Vladimir Vysotsky, commander Navy, RIA Novosti.
„Negotiations for the purchase of vertoletonosach be held at the moment but I think it will open a tender for the contract,“ Vysotsky said in Kaliningrad. Commander noted that only a few countries possess such technologies and can not participate in the auction. These are France, Spain and the Netherlands. Vysotsky said the U.S. has dropped out of negotiations on the „obvious reasons“. He explained that U.S. authorities are very sensitive on the transfer of critical technologies, including dual-use. The new battleship will increase the capacity of the Russian Navy. By the French defense ministry said Russia is considering the possibility of buying Universal vertoletonosach of the „Mistral“, which can be used in operations on land and sea. French naval forces have two warships of this class „Mistral“ and „Toner“, whose price is 600 million euros.
