Simeon Diankov held meetings with the ambassadors of Germany and Sweden

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Simeon Diankov held working meetings with the ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Bulgaria of the Federal Republic of Germany Matthias Hyopfner and the Kingdom of Sweden Paul Beyer, the ministry reported. The meeting was attended by NGO representatives of both parties who put forward their ideas for improving conditions for doing business in the country, which will lead to positive impact on its economic development.

Diankov Minister and HE. Matthias Hyopfner discussed proposals Germano-Bulgarian Industrial Chamber of Commerce to boost economic growth and employment. The main areas of cooperation are infrastructure, energy efficiency, enhancing quality of education, health and administrative services.
The meeting with HE. Paul Beyer attended by representatives of the Swedish Trade Council and the Bulgarian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. The talks were opportunities to expand the presence of investors from the region on the Bulgarian market and Bulgarian companies in the Nordic countries.
Diankov Minister briefed the German and Swedish partners with the priorities and decisive measures taken by the government for transparency and efficiency in government. Representatives of Germany and Sweden have expressed confidence that these steps will continue to have a positive effect on the country’s image and confidence of investors in the Bulgarian institutions.
