Spanish jobless hits four million

The number of people registered as unemployed in Spain topped four million in January.
The Labour Ministry says the total increased by 125,000 during the month.
The latest tally by the National Statistics Office was a jobless rate of 13.9 percent at the end of December and the government expects unemployment to rise further before peaking later this year.
