The current account deficit of the EU reached 58.2 billion

According to the latest revised data on the current account deficit of the EU partners with the rest of the world in the first quarter of this year reached 58.2 billion euros, said Eurostat. For the same quarter of last year the deficit was 46.2 billion euros. Compared to last quarter of minatala years but a decrease since then the deficit was about 68.3 billion euros.
According to the Statistical Office of the balance in services of the EU is positive – 12 billion, but years earlier is this value was 18.5 billion euros. In the last quarter of last year’s surplus in services has reached 20 billion euros.
EU surplus in the first quarter of the year in Switzerland, Canada, Hong Kong and Brazil and has a deficit with China, Russia, Japan, USA and India.
