UK Property Prices Pick Up

The price of houses and flats in Britain rose for the fourth month running in August.
The latest figures from mortgage lender the Nationwide Building Society showed that they increased at their fastest monthly rate in two and a half years.
In a further sign the housing market is picking up, prices rose 1.6 percent this month, bringing the annual rate of decline down to 2.7 percent.
