Between 25-30% decreased Bulgarian wine exports to Russia

Between 25-30% decreased Bulgarian wine exports to Russia, told FOCUS News Agency Natalia Kazakova, Executive Director of Winery Rouse, a member of the Board of the National Vine and Wine Chamber. The decline began in October 2008 so far. Not all plants decreased, however, there is some growth in wine exports to Russia, which is Vinprom Rousse example, Kazakova said.
Economic crisis affects mainly the decline in wine consumption on the domestic market. In the words of Kazakova it comes to nearly 40 percent drop in domestic sales. You could say however that the reduction in wine consumption is due to the summer months. „I think the real decline in the domestic market was around 25 percent,“ she said.
Grape harvest will be good, but the raw material is expected to be slightly dry because it had in recent weeks rain.
