China makes a giant wind farm

In China, started construction of a giant wind farm, whose alleged power will be about 10 gigawatts. However, it is possible to increase and up to 40 gigawatts.

The construction of the new complex began on 8 August and construction will be done in several stages. The first of these will continue until 2010, after its power plant will be approximately 5.16 gigawatts.
The value of the entire project will be around 17.6 billion USD. dollars. Expected after completion of the complex is the largest of its kind in China. It is not clear on what will be in place worldwide since the time in the U.S. and Europe ahead of launch similar projects.
