Excise duty on cigarettes will increase

Parliament increased the excise duty on cigarettes, having adopted the final text of the amendments to the excise tax and warehouses. From next year the excise duty on cigarettes is 101 to 1000 leva beam plus 23 percent of the selling price. So far the charge was 41 euro for 1000, plus short-40.50 percent of the final price.
Because of the surge duty Bulgartabac expected to Bulgarian cigarettes more expensive by between 1.10 and 1.40 leva and best-selling brands in our Victory to cost between 4.50 and 4.80 Euro per box. According to the latest developments cheap cigarettes are going up more expensive.
Earlier, parliament decided excise duty on beer and hard alcohol can not be lifted next year. In the second reading of the amendments to the Law on Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses MPs rejected proposals to jump them. Last week, the budget committee has decided to increase excise duty for hard alcohol. Following the request of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Wednesday not to happen, the parliamentary groups of GERD, CSV and Blue coalition changed its position on this issue. Attack backed only by removing the duty on brandy. During the debate today by CSV continued to insist that the duty on beer to raise.
