Builders receive only 100 million
By days will be paid EUR 100 million to construction companies that the state owes money to operate. This is decided Advisory Board to the Minister of Regional Development Plevneliev Rosen, who has participated in and Finance Minister Simeon Diankov. The Finance Minister has promised to be allocated BGN 50 million, but did not specify how those funds will come, said money for the newspaper participants in the meeting.
Other EUR 40 million payment to construction companies will come from the budget of the road agency. Another 10 million have already been secured to cover old debts to companies for winter cleaning. Of them 5 million has already been transferred to the road agency. Two days ago the Government promised to end the year to be paid for winter cleaning EUR 25 million
Reaction
The other options before the government offered payment to construction companies, is still being discussed. No final opinion on any of them explained to Ivan Boykov c. Cash, executive director of the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria.
Still not clear how much and how VAT will be deducted from the funds and what the budget deficit will be used for payment companies, although the government took a decision a week ago. The Advisory Board has not commented on the issue of bonds as a means of obtaining fresh again for resources to cover its obligations to the companies.
Construction companies asked to be carried out soon precise timing when and what money will be paid. Simeon Diankov promised on 23 December to meet with them again and to submit such a schedule.
The Finance Minister explained that the delay in the making of the schedule due to the frivolous to government departments. They have not sent in time what the statement means due to construction companies. This is done only by Works.
Obligations
Over 400 million the state now recognizes that due to the construction industry contracts to be fulfilled. From the Chamber, however, claims that obligations to their billing transactions are over 800 million at the same time, it became clear that real commitments exceed one billion euro because of missed invoices of the activities of several departments.
