Bulgarian bank robbery made for comedy film

Greek police arrested a Bulgarian who spent two days in a closed bank vault in the capital Athens after failed robbery attempt, forward AFP, referring to reports of the Greek state television NET.

On Friday, after being delivered to a customer of the bank, 30-year-old man hiding in the branches of National Bank of Greece in Athens suburb Kesariani but locked in the vault after inadvertently triggering the alarm system. Bank officials could not remove the security, which prompted police to destroy one of the walls of the vault to release the thief, who was already emptied the contents of several safe, yet NET reported.
