Economists offer alternative budget

Lower taxes, taxed profits, income security, reduce public expenditure, effective use of revenue and public sector reforms.

This is the philosophy of alternative budget proposals for 2010, developed by the Institute for Market Economics (IME), BGNES. IME position expressed by the Executive Director Svetlana Kostadinova, is that large public sector prevents the growth of the economy.

With the measures proposed in the alternative budget, economists offer a radical implementation of the envisaged reform of GERD. According to the IME is now in times of crisis it is necessary to withdraw the state of education and to provide more alternatives for obtaining loans for students, instead of subsidizing higher education institutions.
