Mission of the International Monetary Fund will arrive in Bulgaria this week, announced the fund. IMF representatives will be in Bulgaria on 23 September to 4 October. The upcoming meeting will be led by Katrina Parfiyld which will now be responsible for Bulgaria. Irish took the place of former chief of mission for Bulgaria Bas Bakker, who was appointed to a higher position in the IMF. It will arrive and the representative of the Fund for Romania and Bulgaria Libek Tony.
The visit is part of the regular IMF mission autumn. The Fund has a two-year missions in our country – spring and autumn, and traditionally a meeting with representatives of the Cabinet, National Bank and the private sector. Expectations are that the autumn visit will coincide with the discussion of budget 2011.
