Toyota’s China Recall

Toyota is having to recall almost 700,000 cars made at its two joint ventures in China.
The fault is a minor one on the electric windows but analysts said it dents Toyota’s reputation and might swing some buyers to European and US rival carmakers.
Toyota’s sales in China were stagnant in the first six month of 2009 in contrast to General Motors which saw sales rise by more than a third.
