Brown attack again in the financial sector bonuses

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said that the system of distribution of bonuses in the banking sector should be linked to long-term success of the action. In an interview with the Financial Times he added that institutions should be obliged to seek funds given back if the results do not meet expectations.
During this year the City of London will lose at least 29 000 jobs in the financial sector, according to recent estimates of the Institute for Economic Research CEBR. For two years once the most dynamic sector in the British capital will lose every six working place, a total of 60 000 jobs.
He called for international cooperation on the issue, but the French do not support requests for greater control over salaries and bonuses of bankers. Surely the problem will be discussed again during the G-20 in United States in late September.
