EC: Important you have transportation links with neighboring

Improving transport links with neighboring countries, which includes the construction of Trakia highway, reconstruction of the railway line with Turkey, „Danube Bridge 2 are important regional projects of the European Commission to Bulgaria, said Paul Sametski, Commissioner for Regional Policy.

It also requires investments in education and science: modern equipment of the laboratories, repair and modernization of libraries and at least 170 schools, educational exchange programs.

There are also funds projects for the production of energy using renewable resources to diversify energy sources.
For the realization of these projects, our country could receive up to 7 billion euros, which will be transferred only if they are taken real action on their utilization Commissioner noted.
