Obama extended by one year embargo against Cuba
The U.S. president Barack Obama has extended by one year trade embargo against Cuba, said the White House said Monday.
The extension was expected and is made by all presidents of the United States of 70s under the so-called „Act on trade with the enemy.“
Obama respect the tradition, although he promised to take steps to thaw relations with Cuba, says AP.
Decree of the President of the United States is dated September 11, when the extension expires prior to the embargo by his predecessor George Bush.
