Operational Program for the development of fisheries sector turned 1 years

Today, the anniversary of the official launch of the Operational Program for the development of the fisheries sector.

Implementation of the program began with the opening of two investment measures: Measure 1.3 „Investments on board fishing vessels“ of the Priority Axis 1 „Measures for the adaptation of the Bulgarian fishing fleet“ and measure 2.1 „productive investments in aquaculture“ by priority axis 2 „Aquaculture, inland fishing, processing and marketing of fishery products and aquaculture.

So far, two measures were approved for funding 8 project proposals and contracts to receive grants under the operational program worth EUR 5 428 562.40

On October 1, 2009 and formally launched the implementation of priority axis 4: Sustainable development of fisheries areas „in OPRSR.

So far in the Government Gazette is published 13 regulations on procedures for granting financial assistance with funds from the Operational Program. Expected to finalize the whole process of building regulations at the national level to implement all 19 steps of the Operational Program.
