Redundancies will cost 2.5 billion to bring

The next government meeting will be discussed concrete measures to reduce budget costs and how can be filled hole of 2.5 billion euro in revenue. This was announced by Minister of Finance Simeon Dyankov after the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers. He explained that each ministry will propose specific measures to optimize costs. The forthcoming update of the 2009 budget will be approved only on government level specified yet the Minister of Finance.
According to him, 2.5 billion euro can not be gathered only by cuts in spending because of such short period is not possible, in great request, with such high costs to reduce, not hit some key items, such as education, care, etc. So we will not go to reduce costs. Instead, it will talk next week will propose to divide this vast amount of two and about 50 percent of this difference to be covered by reducing costs. This will be the subject of our next meeting and also to find additional revenue to fill the remainder.
