Tremor this morning jolt Bulgaria

An earthquake with a magnitude around 3.6 on the Richter scale was registered this morning at 6.54 hours in the country, reported Seizmologichniyat Center geophysical institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Epicenter of the quake was about 180 kilometers in the southeast from Sofia.

Earthquake was felt slightly in some areas of the villages of Smolyan, Plovdiv and Kardjali. No evidence of casualties and material damage, said operational duty in the Ministry of emergency situations. Two earthquakes around the third degree on Richter scale was recorded Sunday – one in the territory of Blagoevgrad region, and the other outside the territory of Bulgaria. According to data of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was the first earthquake with epicenter about 90 kilometers in the south-west from Sofia. Epicenter of the second earthquake was about 160 kilometers south-west in the direction from Sofia, outside the country.
