Russian tourists flowing $ 146 million into the economy of New York for a year

Russian tourists in 2008 invested about 146 million dollars in 2008, reported the office of the official partner of the government of the city in tourism NYC & Company, RIA Novosti.
Last year marked a peak in the number of Russian tourists in the city – nearly 100 000 were in the city known as „Big Apple“ among Americans. This represents three times as many Russians as compared to 5 years ago.
